Pensions Credit

The Pensions Credit is aimed for people who have reached the State Pension qualifying age who are living in Great Britain. The payments are made up from Guarantee Credit and Savings Credit, and are paid to members of the public who have reached past retirement age and are no longer able to support themselves, so their payments that they have earned both from the government and from saving throughout their life are repaid to ensure a healthy lifestyle.

To find out more about the limitations that apply to receiving extra payments, you should call 0843 596 4113 and someone will be able to discuss your current Pensions Credit or Carer’s Allowance payments with you and answer any questions you might have about the changes that can be made.

To make a new claim for your Pensions Credit, you can contact the helpline by calling 0843 596 4116 and you will be able to discuss the reasons for your claim, and they will make sure to let you know whether your claim is valid as well as helping you to receive your payments if the claim is verified.

Complaints
